BUSM 6009 Process Consulting and Business Process Mgmt for Adv Beginners

The purpose of this 3-day workshop is to present an overview of Edgar Schein's Process Consultation and
its lessons for Managers and Consultants.  Specifically, this workshop will focus on the Observation,
Reaction, Judgment, Intervention (ORJI) Model. Participants learn about the helping role of organizational
consultation and strategies for effective listening based on Schein's model. Next, participants will examine
the Unfreezing - Change - Refreezing Process. This workshop is reminiscent of work required
in some doctoral programs, but includes a pragmatic flair.
